omit the running of the bath, and i’ll see myself in that quote.

it’s not that i don’t like to go out, i do. and though the chance to do so is rather scarce, there’s not much more i like than going out for a good meal, great conversation and even better laughs. still, i like to stay in. i like the quiet, i like the comfort, i like the simplicity of nights spent in. i also enjoy not having to worry about whether my hair is going to get exponentially bigger as the night wears on in this damp weather, or whether my eyeliner has slipped past my eyes and is now languishing somewhere near my nose. staying in affords you a moment to be nothing more than at ease. it’s a simple pleasure – more so if the home you’re staying in happen to look a bit like these do…
