“even a small star shines in the dark” // finnish proverb

though geographically large, finland can’t claim to have an issue with overcrowding. with the population hovering somewhere around 70% of what the island of manhattan can hold – they have room to roam. and roam they do. it is a country replete with lakes, islands and verdant forests. and now, this is all beginning to sound a little too national geographic.

the point is, one wouldn’t be blamed for not being able to look past their geography – forgetting that the fennoscandia look has an awfully modern feel to it. throw out the contents of my closet and fill it will helsinki-based samuji – though a small star, these finns shine fairly bright…
