“luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury.” // c. chanel
i’ve heard it said that life begins at the end of one’s comfort zone – and if you’re a dedicated follower of fashion, you’d be right to think that train of thought true.
tight, high, cinched and stilettoed are common denominators in the equation of style – and i have to admit, i’ve never really subscribed to that state of mind. there is beauty to be had in that, of course, but frankly – i think we may be craving some comfort in the way we dress now and then. (or always and forever?)
and now, shockingly, i think, perhaps, that there is the tiniest bit of acknowledgement coming from those who bring fashion forward – i mean, have you ever seen so many sweatpants, trainers, oversized frocks, and flats in your life? get it while you can i say, we’ll be back to bandage dresses and spike heels in no time, fashion is ever cyclical, right?
