seeing winter finally take its leave didn’t come without a few unresolved issues.
though spring may have sprung, (though it’s doing so very slowly; picture swimming in molasses) – my hair and skin are still trying to catch up to the dewiness that this season will eventually afford me. my hands are chafed, my hair is parched, and my lips still crack. if it weren’t for the constant rain and birds chirping – you’d be hard pressed to realize that warmer weather will soon be upon us – and if we’re meant to believe that that is true, i really should start in on this droughty husk of mine.
