you see, this is why i prefer to wear only muted colours – i wouldn’t want my colouful personality to get lost amongst a rainbow of togs.
sorry, had to take a moment, i was laughing, on the inside. but, you know, one shouldn’t be so quick to judge a book by its subdued cover – you’d never get to the vibrant plot and button-bursting romance if you’re too snap in getting to the end result.
needless to say, i adore colour, but it ends up in the most humble of places. it’s no wonder that my collection of glittery, kaleidoscopic pens is so vast, and why every blush, gloss and liner cohabitate in such fantastic cahoots in my medicine closet; and why all those pouches and wallets shine on like crazy diamonds – they make the happy noise of a life that is vibrantly, if just a little bit less obviously, lived.
