“we live not according to reason, but according to fashion.” // seneca
ladies and gentlemen, we have reached peak fashion.
there doesn’t seem to be any month, any week, or any day now that does not include a new collection, by any and all designers, for any and all use, for any and all times of the year. there is fashion every day, in every way.
the output of new has reached an almost comical, and yet wholly staggering, level. who can process this much? how does the design process actually work? how are there enough of hours in a day, days in a week, weeks in a month, that could allow for this much output? can the demand actually necessitate such a supply?
there aren’t enough hours in a day, days in a week, weeks in a month, and months in a year to ever get close enough to process it all.
then i sigh, reign my astonishment in, and wait for next week’s collections to arrive.
