“there is nothing more miserable in the world than to arrive in paradise and look like your passport photo.” // e. bombeck

i’m neither miserable nor have i arrived in paradise with a dimly lit photo where all you can see is a wall of hair – but i’m currently looking out the window and all i can see is some amalgam of browns and greys. it’s a colour akin to a grumble and it’s bringing me down.

i want for nothing more than a brisk lie down, a terry robe and some luxe socks as to make padding about the house that much more comfortable. i’d even go so far as to aver that if someone came home with a little something, a tiny little token, to turn this slight frown upside down – i’d gladly receive it.
